Colleges & Universities Initiative
The Money Week Houston colleges and universities Initiative provides financial education information, workshops, and resources to College and University student’s. Obviously, the financial decisions students make in college have an important influence on their financial situation after college. In addition, a students financial situation in college can affect their academic performance. Studies show that one in three students reported his/her financial situation was “likely” or “somewhat likely” to affect the ability to complete a college degree.
The Money Week Houston Colleges & Universities Initiative provides needed resources to educate parents about how to constructively talk to their college students about financial management issues. We also provide online resources for parents and college-bound students. Our College & Universities Initiative provides FREE financial education resources and serves as a “one-stop” shop, where students and parents can find information and resources on financial aid and other financial topics such as credit cards, budgeting, credit reports and credit scores, and identity theft.
