Today’s small business and its entrepreneurs are critical to the growth of
America.  With unemployment at an all-time record high, statistics have
shown that the best time to start a company is during tough economic times.
In fact, according to a recent survey conducted within the past year, “more
than half of the companies on the 2009 Fortune 500 list were launched during
a recession or bear market, along with nearly half of the firms on the 2008
Inc. list of America’s fastest-growing companies.”

Entrepreneurs are truly the answer. Seventy percent of U.S. registered
voters think the health of the economy depends on the success of
entrepreneurs.  The Money Week Houston Small Business initiative is designed
to help entrepreneurs and small businesses to become and remain successful
through Money Week Houston’s extensive educational and financial resources
and network of partners.  These FREE resource workshops and programs focus
on all aspects of business, and is for entrepreneurs at every levels; from
first time start-up entrepreneurs to the multi-experienced business owner.
